If you already know you have to retake the course during summer school, what’s the point in sweating the final?

I want a reasonably sized 4x4 truck with a good sized bed that can fit a side by side two snowmobile hydraulic ramp. No such thing in EV or ICE AFAIK.

This is similar to when contracts go “up for bid” but they are really just going through the motions in order to appease regulators or investors. We stopped bidding on stuff years ago because of this.

For once, I don’t think those contractors will go straight to war crimes. In Iraq and Afghanistan their main orders were to provide security. Unfortunately that meant that they couldn’t scratch their itchy trigger fingers. This time around, thanks to Russia flooding the lines with meat, they’ll have a target rich environment in which to play with their toys. They’ll be too busy playing John Wick against poorly trained ex-cons and conscripts to accidentally kill any women and children.

I am not trying to flex but I have a Sprinter van and camper trailer with a Starlink mount that my wife and I use to “go off-grid” in Wyoming and Montana (Yellowstone, Grand Teton, etc, area). It doesn’t suck. If you can make just enough to maintain a lifestyle that keeps you in nature, I highly recommend it.

PS: A lot of people (young and old) in my area of Wyoming do that. They work the high tourist seasons and odd jibs in the low season, then spend the rest of their time out in nature.

Salaried employees get paid by default. Someone has to notify accounting to not pay the person, not the other way around. This has been the process for every company I have ever worked for, or owned. I am not saying that what you are saying isn’t true, I am saying that it is fucked up.
