This story has been reported by multiple sources now, but it doesn’t matter. Because this doesn’t fit the agenda of the ultra left. It is evident this story was being swept under the rug to hide the truth that mass shootings aren’t just a right wing thing. They’re more often a mental health thing.

And no, I don’t belong to any sort of right wing forums. What I’m saying isn’t radical or really right wing. Do you really want Lemmy to just be another safe space, circle jerk, echo chamber? Where’s the fun in that? How do you improve or learn if you’re never challenged. It’s naive and childish to want to be in places where one is never countered, where points are never challenged.

The literal point of this post is to point out there seems to be an actual conspiracy to sweep this case under the rug.

I’d grab a link from many of the other sources available, but I’m coming to learn that just like reddit, there’s a clique on Lemmy that acts just like MAGAs. When they don’t like a story, they’ll attack the source, not the content.

Lol so the official Ontario sub got kind of out of hand during the pandemic, where they were simply banning any users who even questioned silly rules or mandates when it came to Covid (Ontario had many rules that simply didn’t make sense or outright seemed counter productive in preventing spread).

It got to the point where an alternative sub was made, and it surprisingly got decently active. I think around 20k users at one point. The banter on that alternative sub was hilarious and was the only sub I really miss.

We have maybe 4 or 5 of these babies loaded with dvds and TV series. We basically lived so rural we couldn’t stream for years at our old place. But we did have dvds and used these cases since we could haul them from the bedroom to the living room or basement depending what our plan was.

Now we’re lucky enough to have starlink (yes, initiate the Musk circlejerk) and we still sometimes will go through the albums and watch dvds occasionally.

We are down to Netflix in my household. That was from having prime, crave and Disney at one point. Even Netflix is close to getting the chop, but my wife enjoys it enough. That said, I’m an audiophile and listen to more Spotify and traditional radio (I know I’m a loser, listening to a.m. talk radio and public broadcasting). I just rather listen to stuff while also getting stuff done than sitting on a couch these days.
