Yeah, it runs better in my experience. I want to say, it may be different depending on the hardware just like Windows.

I use prism launcher, it auto installs fabric, forge, etc for you.

I did look into it around December but saw the index wasn’t playing nice with Linux. I may look back into it, as thats all thats keeping Windows installed at this point.

I typically land 10-15 more FPS on Linux but my setup is unique (custom nix flakes), plus AMD GPU and CPU.

I also saw the same increase in performance on my wifes computer, and shes on a basic Fedora setup. She has AMD and Nvidia combo.

Sadly performance seems to be tied to environment setup. Which is a good way to lockout a good amount of gamers.

I do not run roblox, though I’m sure getting it working wouldn’t be too difficult.

All of my games run better on Linux, only reason for windows now is VR.

My main games are Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Citizen, Minecraft and Cyberpunk

I do Tai Chi and KungFu 3 times per week and workout twice a week.

My workout is all calisthenics and lots of stretching. Pm if you want details.

I work in DevOps so I know how hard it can be. If you work from home, try to stretch and move throughout the day. I personally will workout in the middle of the day to break it up.

Both admittedly extreme examples, but forcing someone to carry a child they do not want is unjust and cruel.

I see fdroid update (1.1.4) from 4 days ago and github (1.1.6) yesterday.

To keep it updated I recommend Obtainium ( https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium) if you don’t want to use fdroid.

I switched to Kvaesitso (https://github.com/MM2-0/Kvaesitso) and Lawnchair (https://lawnchair.app/downloads/).

Not quite the same customization, but worth it. Kvaesitso is my primary and I love it.

If you use a VPN it can also mask it too. That’s how I used to get around it before moving to Google Fi.

Use no@thankyou.com as the email anything as the password and it’ll let you setup a local account.

About 6 months since I’ve switched away from vscode. To make Helix worth it you also need to use software that compliments it.

I work in DevOps, so I don’t do a ton of programming but everything I do is via terminal. I use Kitty Terminal, ZSH with oh-my-zsh for the shell, Zellij for an emulation layer (think tiling and tab manager in kitty), nnn for in terminal file manager, and helix for editor.

I almost never leave the terminal now, except when web browsing.

I agree with this. In my opinion helix is the best code editor.

I use both. I have a self hosted docker compose instance of mailcow, which alerts me when an update is available.

I also use protonmail as well.

Self hosting was a pain in the ass to get working, but I’ve had no issues with it once up. I tossed it behind a reverse proxy to keep it from directly touching the internet.

It’s a mess, but people are playing the new COD and that’s a mess too. Maybe it’s because I’ve only been playing for 8 months, but I find it super enjoyable.

I had those, but it’s rare for me. When I first started I phased into a corsair and decided to do a character reset and have had very little issues since. That and I’ve heard newer hardware helps as well.
