Nate Bargatze is one of my favorite comedians at the moment. He did so well hosting. Honestly the only SNL episode I watched lately lol.

The closest I can find is that he just seems like such a smug asshole.
Check out Tom Scott Plus! He challenges himself a lot on that channel and pushes himself out of his comfort zone! I think it’s a great display of his humility and shows him outside of his usual role as more of a narrator on his main channel.
Some of my favorites from the plus channel are the episodes where he gives his producer a tattoo, overcomes his fear of rollercoasters, and tries to learn wrestling.
If they’re really just after data at all costs, they could easily spin up an instance that has no apparent link to threads and federate secretly. I agree with other arguments about not federating with them but idk, all these data privacy arguments against federating with threads are so dumb. If they want it, they’ll get it because getting it is so absurdly easy.
Not sure what you mean. They can already pull any public data on lemmy, as can anyone else.
he used to accept donations way back but stopped since he felt like he could make do without them
He actually has channel memberships now but with absolutely no perks lol. There’s no expectation to become a member which is nice. I’ve been subbed to the $2/mo tier for about a year or two now. Been watching etho for like 10 so it’s nice to support a little more directly than blocking ads lol.
Definitely some of the best production value on youtube. Even his stuff from 10+ years ago holds up incredibly well aside from the resolution.
Idk I’m not dependent on it. I don’t drink coffee every day but sometimes I’ll drink a lot. It doesn’t really effect me much when I drink it and I can easily skip coffee for days at a time so it’s hard to call it a problem.
Regardless, the FDA says that 400mg of caffeine per day is safe for healthy adults so the 390mg lemonade is fine.
Dunkin serves their large iced coffees in 30oz cups. I also will frequently drink a whole pot of coffee throughout the day. 390mg of caffeine is really not that significant for the average person.
It’s an imperfect comparison because sex workers sell their body and take on risks that way. Drug dealers sell a product and aren’t necessarily endangering themselves in the same way.
This meme will now be my desktop image.
Aero is the name of the windows UI design, but it’s also a major defining factor of the wider frutiger aero aesthetic that was prevalent in loads of other tech and marketing at the time. I recommend reading the link you sent because it just backs up what I said.
Fruitigo ero is more about the glossy UI design of the windows vista/7 era than those photographs.
Google isn’t an ISP when it comes to youtube. Yes, they are an ISP in the context of Google fiber but this is completely different. It would be a violation of net neutrality if they slowed certain sites to fiber users.
Net neutrality is about ISPs though.
I’ve lucked out a couple times on flights to Europe from the US where I got the whole middle row of five seats to myself. Flights have been completely packed in recent years, though.
20oz is pretty standard from what I’ve seen for large hot coffees. I believe that the dunkin large iced coffees are like 30oz(while hot is 20). Relatively standard sizes in the US tbh.
It absolutely does not. 100mg per what? They list different quantities of each drink on that source. If you look at it from a mg/fl-oz perspective, you’ll see that the lemonades are on par with coffee.
Ok so it actually has less caffeine then because the lemonade has 260mg/20 fl oz. Are you looking at the calorie count by mistake? Either way, a 8mg difference isn’t that significant because different coffees will have variations in caffeine content along the same lines.
It’s the same amount of caffeine as coffee has. It literally says it on the sign.
It had some really rough moments intertwined with some really well done moments. Overall it’s fine. The shots of the cities and some of the fights were beautiful. I also really liked some of the zuko and iroh backstory that wasn’t in the original show. Some of the dialogue was very clunky and they mashed up a bunch of stories into the same episode which felt weird and didn’t totally work. I enjoyed watching it for the most part. It was never going to be as good as the original so I think going in with that expectation helped.
