Sure, if it was just a couple of them it would probably be fine. But the problem is that in many cities the amount of scooters that are left in random places gets annoying. I think that having designated parking locations would be the best solution and, as long as you have enough of them, that should not impact their usefulness.
Why not ban parking them in random places?
It’s just a matter of following a lot of interesting people since it has no “recommendation algorithm” or whatever. But that can be hard I guess.
I am also more into the reddit/lemmy approach of social media where you subscribe to a community rather than following individual people so idk.
There is nothing stopping people from joining those communities no? I would see this as an issue if people were posting a lot but there was no moderation, but at the moment it seems like the issue is a lack of posts :(
