Yeah after arc 7 & 8 it’s hard to keep track

Another fantastic episode, probably the best of the season thus far and might not be topped until the 2nd cour honestly. From the novels I did imagine there to be more flies all crammed together in the room but it was still really uncomfortable.

And Capella, wow. 10/10 animation and voice acting, Whole scene was amazing, as a character in the story I love Capella but you really do hate her she’s actually horrible.

My anime only friends I’ve been watching with have started wondering when Subaru will die to redo all of this and I’m just trying hard to not tell them there’s no more deaths for this season, but it’s perfectly understandable, I was the same when reading the WN.

Also, have to mention how much better the animation continues to be compared to season 2, even just seeing people have different body movement whilst talking is so nice to see

Another great episode, probably 2nd favourite behind episode 2. Capella’s VA is killing it, they did a really good job at making you think she was the dragon.

Garfiel and Mimi was really heartbreaking and they subtly had Wilhelm notice the wound and have him hold his shoulder where his wound is. Man the Astrea stuff is gonna be so good this season.

And speaking of, I don’t think we actually saw the Felt, Reinhard and Heinkel scene in the WN/LN, so that’s an anime only scene.

Al being his usual sussy self with that line of him learning how Typhon died and the Gluttony advice.

And Subaru finally coming face to face with Gluttony, the cuts to Rem were really good.

And then of course the ending lmao, I wonder if they’ll be cutting Emilia’s reaction to it or if we’ll just get that next episode.

Edit: Actually, maybe Capella was the dragon here, it’s only later when she turns Reala’s husband into the dragon

Another great episode, that little tease of Capella I can’t wait for her to be on full display.

I’d forgotten about the big Regulus rant and thought that was going to be here but it must be later on during his fight with Reinhard. But even his mini rants here were great.

And man that scene with Garfiel made me tear up, you forget sometimes that he’s only like 15. Really glad they’ve kept the phantom Elsa from the LN as that was a great addition to the arc.

Looking forward to next week, I think that’ll be the first assault on the city hall

Both the OP and ED were beautiful, not the best of the series but would definitely rank them somewhere in the middle.

As for the actual episode it was really good, that death of Subaru being strangled was especially gruesome, I think they adapted this really well. I guess since these are his only deaths this season they wanted to go all out.

Animation was great again, so much better than S2.

Can’t remember if the city hall attack is next or if the flooding happens first but either way can’t wait for next week!

I imagine it’ll be the same as 1 update a year we just will get some in one update and the rest in the other

Well first of all the animation quality was great, huge step up from season 2.

Great adaptation so far, VA’s were all great, music was great can’t wait to start getting to the real good stuff of the season

Ame’s done so much for not just Hololive but VTubers as a whole and she will be missed greatly. Although it does say she will remain an affiliate of Hololive, I think a remember a clip ages ago saying about her joining as a staff member after she finished her activities so maybe that is what has happened?

It doesn’t say graduation or termination though so somethings definitely different about this.

Was interesting to see how many attempts it took to deceive each member of the Emilia camp. And oh damn, Al has a suicide pill too. Guess that’s how he managed to do all those attempts.

Man, seeing how Al fights, just resetting once one thing goes wrong and countering that for next time. I really hope we see more of this.

And wow that ending. I almost want to read chapter 13 now but it’s 3am so it’ll have to be done tomorrow. Man this arc is starting out fantastically

Started out pretty meh, but once we got out of the Petra stuff it got real good. I was wondering what would happen if Subaru found one of his books of the dead again and then a few lines later, that happened.

Al calling Beatrice Beako again, wonder what’s up with that. And he’s trapped in Subaru in an Orb that’s capable of trapping witches!? Wonder how he’ll end up getting out of that and what happened to Beatrice?
