There’s something off to me about the media exclusively referring to them as gangs.
I feel like if they were in another part of the world they’d be calling them paramilitaries or militant groups.
It’s crazy that Microsoft hasn’t made an interface for Windows for handhelds like this. They’re leaving money on the table.
I get mine from Soulseek. I can usually find what I’m looking for.
How noob-friendly are those servers? Haven’t played since it’s era, but I’d be interested in booting it up again. I’d imagine I’d just get constantly wrecked by dudes who have been playing consistently for 20 years.
Not interested in this one specifically, but I’m stoked that this device category is taking off. Can’t wait to see what’s available in a few years as manufacturers figure out what works/doesn’t work.
There’s a self-hosted option for Torrentio that I admittedly haven’t set up but am saving for when it inevitably becomes useless
Pharmaceutical companies will not supply those kinds of drugs for executions, because they understandably don’t want their products associated with killing people.
Protestors will almost always allow emergency vehicles through their roadblocks.
People always bring this up, but the reality is they just don’t want protests to cause the most minor of inconveniences for them.
It’s crazy how everyone is suddenly in favour of IP law.
Yeah, they definitely do.
I wish this existed. I figure it’s a matter of time before someone develops a ML solution.
I usually just try to hunt down bootleg feeds. I can usually find one, or a Patreon feed that someone has shared.
They can use the character, as long as they don’t advertise in a way that infringes on Disney’s trademark (can’t use the mouse silhouette etc.) and they can only use the character as he appeared in the 1928 short, he can’t have gloves or red shorts like the Mickey we know now does.
It’s a tightrope, but it’s possible to use the character legally. I’m sure Disney’s lawyers are looking over this stuff with a magnifying glass though.
It seems a lot of people came here because they’re too reddit for reddit.
The wording on this is kinda weird, enemy to who?
Do I think China is an enemy of the US? Yes.
Do I think they’re an enemy to me personally and my values? Ehhh… not really. They do stuff I like and stuff I don’t like.
He still had influence on current leadership. Just recently he was giving his shit takes on Gaza. For that reason alone it’s pretty great that he’s dead.
The world is also just a slightly better place without him in it.
What a pleasant surprise
That’s a shame. I have a copy from 1918. It’s really fun to flip through every once in a while.
That is true, it was the first truly modern console generation.
Ultimately I think retro gaming is rooted in nostalgia. People will always gravitate to the consoles they grew up with, making them “retro.” Probably why those rereleases do well.
I’m curious to see what happens in 10-15 years when games-as-a-service hits that point, and how the retrogaming community deals with that. With games like Halo 3 being a stretch now, I can’t imagine a world where Fortnite and Super Mario World exist in the same category.
I mean it makes sense, I remember around 2006 everyone referred to the SNES as “retro” and no one questioned it. That’s a smaller time gap than 360 era to now.
I’d like to see warnings on alcohol before this
