It’s our first wedding anniversary today and we agreed no pranks so we could relax and enjoy it. Not that either of us are the pranking type anyway really, but better to agree it out loud 😄
I live an increasingly confusing double life as TeaHands the game dev, and TheGiddyStitcher, multicrafter extraordinaire!
Currently working on my first ever commercial indie game, a minimalist city builder.

I remember posting this question just after the Reddit exodus so went back to look at my stats from back then. According to the post I’d been on Lemmy for 12 days and had subscribed to:
That was just on this account though, and I have two accounts with fairly different feeds. So let’s say I was probably on a total of around 180-200 then across both accounts, and have been adding them at a slow but steady rate
That gives us a scientifically sound estimate of my current total subscriptions: a lot.
Lol I didn’t even see that, fair enough 😄
Came prepared to downvote this for being common sense, but judging by the comments it actually is surprisingly unpopular! Well played.
Ooh what are you on with atm? I’m embroiled in a minimalist city builder thing and just got to the part where I need to learn to animate things, which I have been full-on dreading.
I could’ve written this comment word for word. It really does make things a lot easier to just be direct, being able to do this is one of the very few outright advantages of our non-standard brains imo!
Gotta actually link things if you want people to find them, my friend! 😉
For the Mastodon users among us, obligatory plug https://streetpass.social
I’m still using the v1 headset but have to admit this would probably tip me over into upgrading.
As one of those people who is struggling a bit: Never let the state of the rest of the world stop you from celebrating your own wins!
Congrats on the raise, that is really awesome. Remember to put a decent chunk into savings :D
Once managed to drop a bit on the floor without noticing, then step in it. Only realised when I attempted to suddenly turn and walk away, ripping my foot from the floorboard with a sound I shall never forget.
It was not a good day.
Might not be the kind of arts and crafts you’re talking about but I mod both !knitting@lemmy.world and !lemmy_stitch@sh.itjust.works, plus there’s !crochet@lemmy.ca , !sewing@lemmy.world and plenty more that would be happy to have you!
Yep you’d expect it to climb significantly once .world upgrades. Basically this update messes with the baseline stat a lot so no reason to celebrate, but also no reason to really be fussed either way as long as we’ve got plenty people here to talk to 👍
Pretty sure most people just use their Mastodon app. I’ve heard decent things about Fedilab as well, haven’t tried that one myself but I hear it has PeerTube support.
The PT devs have just announced they’ll be working on a proper app in 2024 so 🤞
This might be the showerthought that’s given me the most to think about ever. Can’t stop thinking about licking my couch, for a start. Well played OP.
Fatigue mask seems cool, until you’re just spending 7 extra hours a day procrastinating doing the thing you thought you’d use all this extra time to achieve.
The glasses are OP. With them, nobody can even be mad at you for all the procrastination.
Figure out what sort of thing you’d like to see, check out the related hashtag feeds. You can follow tags as a good way to get started and follow individual people as and when they pop up with something cool.
Shoutout to https://botsin.space/@rabbiteveryhour for keeping my feed at maximum fuzziness.
That’s awesome, congratulations to you too!
