Right, the only value and purpose of arts and literature, it’s creation and enjoyment, is to make a product to sell or consume a story. What a foolish opinion.

Intersectionality is the idea that various forms of privilege and circumstance interact with each other to make an individual. Certain influences are more impactful upon a particular person’s circumstances, and thus influence privilege to a much greater extent. The non-linear nature that DinosaurThussy is talking about can better be shown with examples.
If you’re homeless and white it’s clear that you’re in a worse off situation than a billionaire who is black. Class status has a far greater influence on this situation. It would be fair to say that the black billionaire has more privilege due to his class status but not his ethnic identity. That being said, it’s unlikely that the white man was denied a job due to his race in a way a homeless black person may be. Being poor and white and poor and black have many commonalities, but intersectional analysis allows us to understand the different ways and avenues that particular characteristics influences the ways that a person may end up in a particular circumstance.
The idea continues on. A person who is a billionaire may be significantly shielded from a lot of racism, or face it in a less extreme way. For example, that proverbial black billionaire likely wouldn’t have many run ins with racist cops in impoverished neighborhoods. However, he still might face the unifying characteristic of being called a slur by his peers in the way that a poor black person might. His privilege of wealth may not complete inoculate him facing racism at all, even if he faces it in a less extreme way.
In essence, this situation is viewing individuals dialectic-ly. It seeks to understand how all of a person’s identity and circumstances relate to the struggles and oppression certain groups or people may face in society.

unfortunately I think this is just him saying he’s a “woke communist” if being a woke communist is atheism, women’s rights, and gun control. I don’t think he’s a marxist of any stripe it seems. However, I am willing to be corrected here. I’ve only seen this post regarding to him

For me it’s my like for religious Christmas music.
We washed a person’s feet before doing a special religious service project. Essentially like you said, to humble the self and focus on the act and God. Of course the project was really bad in terms of morality but I do think ritual aspects of religion feel nice. As someone said, people are cultural and engaging in acts and symbolism feels good.
It’s not though man…
It fundamentally breaks when ideologies which agree on issues are shown as diverging when others don’t. If you’re really a communist you should understand this as idealist nonsense which can’t actually reflect the complexities of political thought. “Libertarian” thought is also that which supports indentured servitude. Do “libertarian socialists” agree with that? No I sure hope not.
This is a fundamental breakdown of that depiction of politics and the fact that you still reference it as a “useful tool” betrays the incoherence of your politics.
Since you seemed to reply in earnest, I’ll link this and highly suggest you watch it. Even if you don’t end up agreeing, I think it lays out the crux of the issue with human rights as an idea in a clear concise manner. It’s only 20 minutes long and it’s well put together.

I’d go point by point through your post (which I did read) but I’m swamped with work and shit.
Preventing how? Clearly these principles don’t work because the government that’s supposed to be following them can just choose not to.
As evidenced by the myriad of “human rights” abuses done by a state founded on the idea of “civil rights”.
The rights of man are predicted on power. Otherwise it’s just talk.
No it’s not. That’s why you have houses and apartments for hypothetical millionaires going empty because no one can actually afford them. As long as homes and real estate have speculative value there is no guarantee that “supply” will positively affect prices or affect them enough to provide housing for everyone.
The simple fact that there are more empty homes and apartments than there are homeless people disproves your premise.
Because you don’t seem to be connecting the points together. Lead a horse to water but can’t force it to drink kinda situation.
Landlords didn’t do anything but have capital. Workers built the damn thing.
That’s the water I was talking about.
Really really good marketing, packaging and fomo overall
Wonder how they’re gonna handle vi’s transition into a fascist cop. I hope they don’t end up with messaging that waffles between the people who direct systems of exploitation and those violently lash out against it are equally bad.
