Married bloke, 49 years young from the UK.
Even though im nearly 50, im old enough to know better, but young enough to try it anyway.
More exciting than just basketball too!
I didn’t go out of my way to watch the Olympics, but I managed to watch a fair amount by having it on in the background while doing chores/waiting for other programs to start. Will do the same with the Paralympics.
I’m right handed, but eat left handed.
Friday made me happy, best day of the week.
It’s surprising just how good water is for you, i literally just used to drink coffee everyday, now im fast approaching the big five-oh and I’ve cut right down with the coffee intake and started drinking water more frequently.
I’m with you on that, i have a very manual job, im pretty much on my feet all day, and so i know the importance of looking after your back, it’s not fun to put your back out while stooping over picking up an empty box!
The older I get, the more i don’t really care about other people’s opinions, or remarks, and it’s refreshing to say the least!
Interesting stuff, i used to play DnD years ago when I was a kid, then went onto Warhammer 40,000, that brings back good memories of Sunday afternoons.
Hope you have a good evening!
Maybe it was in your sixteen year old European car, while it was in the garage having a makeover? Haha!!
Yesterday morning I thought it was Sunday!?
What?! Thinking you’re a day ahead is one thing, but 4 days?!!
I hope you’re not wishing your life away? Haha!
Did you get a speeding ticket? Haha!
My partner might go out of town soon so I get to do whatever I want which will probably be dumb music and video games. Honestly not any different from when they’re here.
I enjoy it when my partner goes away, i dont do anything different as such, but at least i get full control of the television!!
All i can say is, roll on Friday, plus i woke up this morning thinking it was Friday.
Don’t you just hate it when you have to go back a whole day?!!
I’ve not broken a bone either, im nearly 50 years young, but I have dislocated both of my shoulders!!
I have never caught Covid (as far as I know), i took tests whenever i felt a bit under the weather, always negative.
No baking involved, the filling is just…
600g full fat soft cheese. 100g icing sugar. 284ml pot of double cream.
Plus any other bits you fancy, like flakes of chocolate, or grated lemon peel.
I presume you are a fan of cheesecake?
I hear this, and im in the same mindset, friends of ours have asked if we wanted to go on holiday with them in a couple of months, grab a bit of sunshine aboard before winter sets in, and i cant really justify it (id normally save up over 6 months or so to pay for it), especially what with Christmas soon to follow.
Literally everything is more expensive these days.
Where were you on my birthday??
Umm, in England!
I Googled Graham cracker crust, apparently the closest thing in the UK is Mcvities digestive biscuits, which is what i use, but it’s not baked, just broken into tiny crumbs, mix in melted butter, place mixture in a tin compact it, place in the fridge then add the filling.
But then that’s for a plain cheesecake base, i like being creative, chocolate digestive biscuits, Biscoff biscuits are very nice.
See, id be more inclined to make a cake, i have been known to make a damn fine cheesecake, but not one of those ‘baked New York cheesecakes’, Oh no! im talking about a cheesecake with the biscuit base, it’s probably a British thing though as i know American biscuits are different from British biscuits!
