I see…
Let’s hope this plays well with OpenRGB devices (I.e. PC fans) & my G502 X Plus. Currently, my mouse isn’t in OpenRGB
For laptops with RGB-backlit keyboards, Plasma has gained the ability to keep the backlight color in sync with the active accent color! And support for custom colors is coming too
Does that include QMK keyboards (i.e. Keychron) that get tweaked with VIA?
Its insane to think you have any leverage as a contractor for one of the most bloated companies in the history of man kind.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, but this is the reality.
The thing is that these contractors shouldn’t expect to be in the same level as a regular employee in terms of importance. And if they didn’t fire these people, but they simply didn’t bother to renew the contract, then that solidifies that position.
This past few months (can’t recall how long it has been) have been full of layoffs across various industries. Their position just became even weaker.
E2EE
But only through Google’s RCS
I know that KDE is working on HDR support for Plasma 6 (Wayland). Dunno how ready it’ll be by the time it comes out, but its coming.
Other than Plasma 6, I don’t think so.
I just finished Detroit: Become Human.
I decided to play it after I upgraded my Deck’s SSD to 2TB.
And I’ve been spending a lot of time on Halo: Infinite.
I didn’t need to. I didn’t boot it up till yesterday to look for other causes, which was when I realized the fan died.
I discovered that the fan just died.
Sorry for this. I didn’t check that old laptop till yesterday to check for other issues unrelated to Plasma, which was when I discovered that the fan died.
It’s a spare laptop a friend gave to me recently.

It is. I was merely curious if it’s normal at this point in time.
I was merely testing out Plasma 6 on it, and I was just shocked on how sluggish it felt. I recently just got that laptop, so I’m hoping there isn’t some BS where the performance gets hampered by the kind of charger i’m using.
I was just curious if that’s what’s happening at this point in time.
I figured that GNOME’s insistence on CSD few years back will bite them in the rear.

And I don’t wanna be that guy that’s wants something to fail just because it’s not to my taste, but I’m glad to hear that the dev thinks KDE’s Wayland is in much better shape than GNOME’s, especially since GNOME’s pushing it really hard.
For me, personally, I won’t switch away until Plasma 6 comes out, if it’s in much better shape than Plasma 5’s Wayland, and games running through Proton work well enough in Wayland competitively.
Will KDE Neon Testing Edition get the update, too?
Fingers crossed gaming will be better in Wayland by the time Plasma 6 comes out
There’s a lot of improvements with Plasma 6 and NVIDIA 545 on my RTX 3060 Ti, so that’s something to look forward to.
Sane here. I would normally do that, as most of my widgets can be recreated.
I love seeing my name on it! Feels good to be contributing to this amazing project, even if it’s just monetary and bug reports
Yea…I got lazy and just used the video’s title
