Playing GTA IV as my main title at the moment. Really appreciate how down to earth it is in comparison to the next game.
Other than that I’m also playing Orna on my phone when I’m out for a walk. GPS game based on classic RPG mechanics of grinding out monsters n’ shit. Petty good time.
I haven’t played No Man’s Sky in yonks, but this seems as good excuse as any to boot it up on my Steam Deck later tonight and get to building a base.
I already fly around on a massive freighter base called The Marx. Feels like this is a good place in the simulated cosmos for me to me. Thanks for the cross post, comrade

The game is in a pretty rough state. I’m surprised 1.0 is coming. I guess it’ll be a lot like it’s predecessor, and be perpetually janky but still fun.
Back in the day I used to waste time after school making levels in hammer or the creation kit, but otherwise the most modding I can do is like, swapping textures and stuff.
Now installing mods is my weakness. Can’t get enough of that.
Modern For All Mankind plotline? Can we get some global communist community too?

legitimately get so much anxiety over the health of my teeth. there are so many problems with them but getting each one examined and corrected costs hundreds of dollars that i never have spare
public health system covers fuck all dental services and the worse it gets the more painful it becomes and the more dental anxiety i accrue, meaning that the affordable procedures i can just walk in and get (ripping teeth basically) terrify me driving me to private services which cost hundreds of dollars and the loop begins again

I’ve never seen a Tankie claim that Russia, China, North Korea, etc. are good governments that are always ethical. It’s almost always a comparison between the US and these other authoritarian countries that they get stuck on.

Imo, paying is worth it to be completely free of Google’s services.
yeah the coolest thing about modern economic systems is that we can culturally recognize the ethically barren landscape of pyramid schemes as a bad thing that we obviously don’t get into and even ban in sane places! But economically well yeah sometimes your friend since high school is just going to bumble into an MLM scheme, financially wreck themselves, bomb their social lives, and spew propaganda about being their own boss selling soaps, and that’s just ok. that’s fine. if anything, it’s their fault for falling for it!
