I think the joke is that if this bag falls apart, which was supposed to last a lifetime, that it must mean your life is near its end, as though the life of the bag and your own are intertwined.

It bothers me that the “M”s aren’t just a sideways “E”
When Republicans send its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.
The “queue to connect to the server” is how I read their message.
This is a meme, coming from an old copy/paste bit. Know your meme has a good write up about it.
Albert Einstein Copypasta, also known as “Malice of Absence,” is a fictional account of a philosophical debate on the benevolence of God between a religious-skeptic professor and a student of faith, the latter of whom is revealed to be the world-renowned scientist Albert Einstein. Online, the last line in the story is often referenced in discussion threads and comments to mock hyperbolic statements or tall tales.
If you keep both armadillos in a single case, it looks like you only have the one violin. A classic beginner mistake is to give each their own case.
Yikes, that must have been scary! My cat started refusing her treats about a month ago, which is how I had been giving her her meds for the past year, I can really relate to that struggle get them to take their meds. If only they’d understand that it’ll make them feel better!
I hope the little guy is doing better!
I’m in an urban area where my apartment building is wired for only one ISP. $92 a month, the speed test I just did was 400 down, 20 up.
Wouldn’t the money go into escrow? If you could preemptively deposit your money, would that count as spending it in this made up scenario?
I was always a fan of #BADA55 when I needed a placeholder color. Not only is it badass, it’s a nice mellow green.
Especially seeing them out of context. I once ran into a newscaster on public transit, and thought they looked somehow different from the rest of us, but couldn’t really place it. At some point later, I had vaguely recognized them as a newscaster on one of the local stations that I didn’t watch, so I still don’t really know who they were.
She’s so precious! Sometimes you just want to sleep on a pile of trash…
I found someone had posted this on Reddit two years ago. Over there u/Vectrexian had said:
Hell yeah, Sega 32X Metal Head. A janky mess of a game with cool music!
And elaborated:
It’s a clunky mech piloting game for the Sega 32X. The actual gameplay is pretty mediocre, but the music is pretty good (with famed Sonic series composer Jun Senoue on the sound team). One rather “interesting” feature of the game is the character portraits during dialogue, which is where this photo is from. The text was edited for the joke though, that text isn’t in the original game (it’s not even the right font). You can actually change the portraits to anime-style drawings in the options menu but these are funnier, especially when the mouths move.
Or breaking wind. This one has so many layers
This is a bad take. I’ve never read Romance novels, but I’m not enough of a book snob to tell people that things that get them reading or brings them joy is awful, wooden or painful to read.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

Harry Potter was valuable in getting millions of people, especially children, interested in reading. Not everything needs to be high art, and not everything needs to appeal to you. You’re clearly not the target audience, so don’t shit on someone because they enjoy a thing that you don’t.
If there is something offensive in a book, it can and should be discussed, and readers can become aware of representation and other issues this way, but you’re not trying to have a good faith discussion with your comments above.
I get migraines triggered from sinus pressure. Do you know what triggers yours?
Because mine are often from sinus issues, treating that will often help relieve or prevent the migraines. Tylenol Sinus and Allegra D have been the two things that really work for me, depending on the situation.
Post Covid had me congested for several months, accompanied by a constant baseline headache and migraines every other day. Allegra D was really a godsend that got me through that time.
In any case, best of luck, I hope you find some relief!
Ha! You might as well give up and wear diapers at that point!
Yes! I loved Rocky Rococo’s! Jets can almost scratch that itch, but I wish there were still Rocky Rococo’s near me.
For the last 20 years, I’ve worked in smaller tech start ups (~10-50 people) and one larger more corporate tech place (~300 people), and they’ve all been salaried, 9-5. Since they’re salaried, it’s a paid lunch period.
