Choose whatever laptop you like, and do a quick search on the model for incompatibilities. If there’s something critical or long-term, like a very specific hardware module not working well without its proprietary driver, consider changing, but most of the time, Linux will just work.

For distro, PopOS is good. It doesn’t come with a bunch of bloatware, but it is also not barebones. Mint is also a great choice.

I dont think that usability or acessibility gets so much in the way. It’s more about thinking webpages as applications instead of documents. Plain html is easier for screenreaders and larger fonts. You can also get responsive with very little css.

Simplicity is just not the goal anymore.

This, if you want to act on something later, just create a bookmark and set a reminder, act on what you need, then close and move on, don’t clutter your browser and your head.

Usually, i open one window for each task, so i don’t get a lot of unrelated content mixed up and loose focus. I rarely need more than 1~5 tabs.
