Here in soccer sub it’s only like 4k follower and daily active people of ~40people. No matter how hard I try to talk to it will be only to myself.

I don’t really think using social media is inherently bad or harmful to anyone’s health, since human beings are striving for communication with others. Also I think privacy is a more first world problem as if people in developing countries, are not particularly interested in privacy at all. They are just going for things that are trendy, where a lot of people gather and do the same thing. Threads, TikTok, Twitter and obviously Facebook are all very popular yet the companies never hide their intentions to harvest personal data for profit. I guess if the companies pay people back for use of their data, even more people will say they are willing to give their data in exchange for tiny bit of money.

i refuse to believe AI can replace totally of the human part in the industry. Yeah some of the weak actors will be pushed out as they are not doing the job good enough, but it’s inevitable that one day technology is advanced that AI can actually replace human workforce. Like car manufacturing industry that have massive machines to assemble car parts, but also there are things only human can do. We don’t need crappy scriptwriters writing rubbish soap opera that my 10 year old daughter can write because they are no more generic than a AI churn out script. It’s like hiring a typewriter operator in 2023. Or rubbish actors that are like reading their script out with minimal effort and skills. It does not make sense.

I don’t think there is concern. In the age of uncertainty, massive inequality, cultural clash between immigrants and locals, people either turn far left or far right.
