Good advice even when buying an older car. I wonder if there’s a shitlist for the manufacturers who have this crap pre-installed and always running?
The fact that this lame strawman argument has received so many upvotes is baffling. Who gives a fuck what the random moderator that you invented does?
So new cars have always-on cellular connectivity regardless of subscriptions paid? That’s insane. The auto industry is a genuine menace.
Why would a car manufacturer give you cellular service for free? If you don’t pay for subscriptions, surely they’re not seeing any of your car’s data?
why doesn’t my bussy look this good :/

Wow, one bugged icon. Get owned iSheep 😎
By a mod, no less!
What is with Western game fans acting proud of having an auditory gimmick in their games?
Surely there isn’t that big of a cheating problem in a fucking rally driving video game, to the point where you need ring 0 anti cheat?
Regardless, this rise in invasive anti cheat is getting seriously annoying. I hope the right person gets pissed off and finds a way to make them run on Linux for the sake of the rest of the community, but even still, I’ll continue to play single player experiences and leave my mental health intact.
Even Orion Browser on iOS supports extensions. Bit perplexed by this headline.
Err, are you sure you didn’t find some dodgy non-official version of Stremio with ads embedded in the client?
Old posts from up to a year ago have randomly started showing up in my feed and it’s starting to drive me insane. I believe all you need to do to bump a post is to edit it. I have no idea why this would ever need to be a feature in Lemmy, though.
What I ended up doing was making a smart playlist on desktop, that contains all of the songs in your library. Then it’s a single button tap to download everything.
Why is turning off a defaulted checkbox such a big deal? It’s KDE, surely you would be used to customising settings by now since they make it so easy.
Does Lemmy really push older posts in the algorithm if you edit them? That seems a little flawed.
Intel and Nvidia’s doing it so it’s cool now
