Das ist ja das Problem. Es ist unrealistisch zu denken, das so ein Gesetz einerseits tatsächlich verhindert das Leute andere Leute beleidigen oder schlecht reden und andererseits das der Staat fair mit dem Problem umgeht. Es stehen ganz offensichtlich andere Resourcen zur Verfügung wenn ein Politiker beleidigt wird, als wenn ein normaler Bürger beleidigt wird.

Art 3. GG sagt aber eigentlich das wir vor dem Gesetz gleich sein sollen.

Um das Argument zu vervollständigen und auszuformulieren:

1. Wir haben den Anspruch alle vor dem Gesetz gleich zu behandeln.
2. Das Gesetz verbietet Beleidigung und stellt sie unter Strafe.
3. Es werden unterschiedliche Resourcen eingesetzt um 2. umzusetzen, das steht im Widerspruch zu 1.
4. Wir müssten uns überlegen ob wir entweder eine der Regeln aufgeben, oder das Budget für Beleidigungsbekämpfung so lange erhöhen bis die allgemeine tatsächliche Bekämpfung von Beleidigung einen Stand erreicht wie er mit dem von Politikern schon umgesetzt wird.
5. Die Vorstellung das es jedes Mal wenn jemand als z.b. als “Hurensohn” beleidigt wird, es monatelang Polizeieinsätze und Gerichtsverfahren geben wird ist lächerlich. Wir haben andere Probleme die wir mit dem begrenzten Budget zuerst lösen sollten, z.b. Kitaplätze.
6. Wenn wir das Budget nicht haben um das Gesetz bzw. den moralischen Anspruch umzusetzen, können wir uns überlegen welche Regeln wir aufgeben und das sollte der Beleidigungsparagraph sein und nicht Art. 3 GG. Weil Verfassung > andere Gesetze.

Ich finde eher das Beleidigungen erlaubt sein sollten als das sie verboten sein sollten.

Also die Vorstellung das tatsächlich Polizei eingesetzt und Resourcen darauf verwendet werden jemanden zu verfolgen der einen Politiker*in z.b. als einen Pimmel bezeichnet, finde ich falsch und problematisch. Falscher und problematischer als die Beleidigung.

Das eine Beleidigung stattgefunden hat, darf aber gerne unter Klarnamen stattfinden und/oder gegen die Person verwendet werden die beleidigt hat. Eine Beleidigung finde ich ok, aber die Person die beleidigt darf dann auch gerne von weiteren politischen Diskussionen die einen höflichen Umgang erfordern augeschlossen werden.

Beleidigungen finde ich einfach im Kontext von echten Nazis, Diktatoren und anderen die nunmal real in der Welt und in der Politik existieren vergleichsweise harmlos. Jemand der sich auf Politik einlässt, muss in Betracht ziehen das er dann auch negativ im Propaganda Material der anderen Seite auftaucht.

Das ist auf dem gleichen Level wie “es wäre schön wenn die Welt ohne Gewalt auskommen würde”, aber dann gucken wir nach Russland und Ukraine und müssen feststellen das die reale Welt unseren idealistischen Ansprüchen nicht von alleine nachkommt.

Ich würde hier “Gabelung” vorziehen. Das existiert auch schon als (Weg)-gabelung und ist deswegen verständlich und beschreibt genau das was passiert.

But there is absolutely no way to verify what they are doing, no fear of getting caught and thus there is no incentive to behave with integrity.

At least my state of knowledge is that this: https://reproducible-builds.org/ isn’t fully functional and even if it were what HP does on their machines is closed source stuff.

And even if there were companies or organizations that are big enough to enforce transparency, like a big multinational or a government, there will be plenty of cases where smaller companies with sensitive data can’t, like doctors offices or independent lawyers.

It is way easier to charge for a “data privacy” subscription tier and then still just not honoring the wording of that, than to actually put in the effort.

Also, I’m not sure how much this applies to helldivers specifically, but from what I’ve seen, teams didn’t really teamwork. Because they didn’t have to.

This can be very bad because if it follows these steps:

1. game is easy, no teamwork required, players learn to play the game without teamwork
2. game gets harder, but some people can still manage solo, complain about “newbs” and tell them to “git gud”
3. game gets even harder, now it’s impossible to play “quasi solo” but the environment is no longer fit to learn teamwork in the context of this game. “How” to work together effectively.

Then people will complain, justly, that they don’t have the tools and methods to beat the challenge. Which is correct. They don’t. But you can’t just tell people to “go play easy mode and learn the game”, when they are “max level” and put 40-100 hours into the game.

Of course the synergy tools still have to exist and I’m not knowledgeable about helldivers whether they do.

There is no good choice to “encourage” teamplay, except via creating “natural” funnels that people will “end up at” “organically”, and putting a challenge in front of them that they can only work with teamwork. But that means the challenge has to beat them, until they get it. And that may never happen.

One game I have found exceptional as a case study for what is “overpowered” and what isn’t, and why, is magic the gathering. All the “code” is public. The complaints are public. The bans are public, and explained. So if anyone here wants to nerd out about balance and doesn’t know mtg yet, there is a rabbit hole for you.
