Interesting how many different (not so charitable) interpretation of this comic exist in thr comments.
To me this of course a simplification, as its a comic and was postes in !memes
In my opinion this comic shows how nationalism can be used to pit the working class against each other even tho their class interests are pretty similar, no matter which side of the border they are.
There are no orgs to expand in anarchism.
But there are? Maybe we have a different underszanding of what that sentence means, but there are anarchist organizations that want to grow bigger. From anarchist unions to anarchists organizations that organize based on ideas such as plattformism and espescifismo.
So its more the unions that need to be careful and since there (currently) is not really an alternative for bus drivers to organize themselves and start collective action, the bus drivers are restricted by what the union can legally do. Pretty similar situation in Germany.
I think strikes should break laws if the ones striling think it might help them.
Legally that might be possible, but surely the solidarity between the bus drivers and the general population would be able to overcome that, wouldnt it?
Why should the bus drivers care about the judges ruling?

While I think the piece and thought behind it are cool and its worth sharing, do you feel this fits a community for “Sweet Graffiti and other acts of wholesome vandalism” and “cute graffiti, stickers, wheatpastes and more”? I think it might be too off topic and maybe a better fit at places like !pics@lemmy.world or !streetart@lemm.ee

Also if you feel a piece is wholesome / sweet than keep posting :)
Only Marxists can write such a long text with dozens of hard to grasps concepts and tbh completely unrelated topics for the question of who does the dishes.
I also want to add: Don’t wait for the revolution to start doing dishes. Do it now.

Collectively we should be able to care about multiple things at once and also prioritze between them.
Even if data centers use mostly renewables, its not like those are actually so abundant that they would go unused. Its important to not just switch power generation but to actually also reduce power consumption, especially when its such low hanging fruits as AI.

Travel differently. Right now I try to use the fastest way to my destination because I only have limited time. But instead just stopping in places on the way or taking slower neans if transportation like hitchhiking would be great
As long as automation is not just a transfer of labor, there is not really anything negative about it.
But in our current world automation does not necessarily mean that something takes less human labor to produce, it usually is just cheaper to produce it that way. Like a robot might make my work day shorter (or just save the capitalist some money) but for robot to exist it needs materials mined, refined, assembly, quality control, shipping and more. Maybe those actions actually need more hours of labor, but because those happen in places where its way cheaper to hire workers the capitalist do that auromation anyway.
100% I also dont want to be landlord by proxy.
I want at least some of the communities i moderate to be more accessible. I think image descriptions benefit those with vision impairment, low bandwith and in case of a broken image link / image server. I dont have any direct personal benefit from that.
I never thought about AI models in that context, but that is actually an interesting perspective! I hope ot does not get scraped tho
First and foremost, I like the spirit and sounds fun (I am probably banned tho)
I think banning people before they have the chance to show that they can follow community rules is not the way I would do it, but its also not something I deeply care about.
I also think on slrpnk.net you are restricted by the server rules, so you can be the most pleasant racist there is and would still break the server rules and thus get banned.
