Ish. Dont shit where you eat. Its risky to play with coworkers, but really dangerous to play with your boss. I highly advise everyone NOT to do it

The legends say… that the more depressive a DM is, the happier the player gets. He must be very happy XD
Since he is there, I always bring more monsters out. He can delete one first turn no problemo and cannot be ever seen.
I sent the sheet to my player that is playing a Harrengon and is the most deadly character of a team that includes a moon druid, a wizard and a warlock.
Surprisingly, he found it too cute for his character XD
I said since he’s always sneaking and nobody ever sees him it’s not like how he looked mattered to his enemies anyway XD
Oh yeah, Last Words are a fucking must. It’s the last chapter of your character. It’s the last bit of action they might ever take. What curle DM would say : no you are dead now shut up.
Well, I used to read a lot of stories on rpghorrorstories, so yeah it’s entirely possible.
Here is my complete set of rules, but it’s in french sorry. Feel free to translate it using Google The key is that it HAS to be tempting to use. Or the players will just ignore it entirely. Like the Deck of Many Things.
Condition Dying
Exhaustion :
Sur les d20
1 = -1
2 = -2
… …
9 = -9
10 = mort
Récupération
Premier short rest = - 1 Exhaustion
Long rest = - 2 Exhaustion

I am currently trying the xp to level 3 unconscious rules and its going decently. I had to change it a bit, but it allows players to do actions even at 0 hp for a price. Hard to test since they are over level 12 and they are hard to hurt.
If you drink a healing potion outside of combat its full effect.
Bottled inspirations. They get one in their inventory if they still have one.
Present players play abseetees and get xp as a reward, so I dont redo encounters 10 minutes before the start.
Tell my wife I said… hello
Thank you ! Exactly. Do it only if its fun for the players.
But… whats the problem into not being out of ammo ? Would an entire campaign lovingly crafted by a nice DM survive (get it?) That detail ? Wouldnt ammo tracking be a minor survival aspect anyway ?
Your point is good thought. But is it good enough to force it on players already tracking lots of stuff and not enjoying tracking this specifically ? I dont have the answer, it would depend on the player, the DM, and the campaign.
Indeed. One of my times with it they left the “sheep” in an ambush hole unconscious and came back later to find an old peasant getting ready to roast it.
I was the DM of course
You are using ninth level spell ? And this is the biggest question to ask ? This is like asking for a jumbo jet to get a light to read a book
I dont like martials in 5th. I like having options. I do t care which class or combo or multiclass has the best power levels or damage outputs. What I like is having fun with 15 different choices I can pick from every round.
Here is also a little story. You know how you kill a demiliche easily ? Telekinesis to immobilize them. They have -5 strenght. And it doesnt do a single point of damage. But once they are immobilised, they are fucked since they have almost nothing long range.
Sometimes power level is small talk when you accidently jam your finger right into a boss’s weakness and exploit it.
And the best part ? One time, a martial did something like that to a boss.
Damage dice are small. Weaknesses are all the rage.
Shoutout to my best boi Wild Sheep Chase. Favourite one shot
Baldur’s gate is based around 5th. If someone doesnt know about TTRPG and likes BG3 recommending them Call of Chtulu seems like someone failed their Perception check and think its someone else in front of them.
You guys must play rarely for being level 4 after a year ?
To give you an idea, I play every week and my players are around level 13 after 2 years. But they started level 3 true.
Monopoly is fine. Dnd is another beast.
