It’s just awful and boring. I couldn’t even finish watching this episode.
The characters just blathering on about shit. The art is nice, and I’m sure some money went into this production, but a shit show like this really makes me appreciate the “invisible art” of visual storytelling: Writing, characterization, drama, storyboarding, direction, and editing are all just missing here.
Someone else can start the Episode 3 discussion, because I won’t be watching it.
I think this is one of the interesting bits about the shinobu outage. Seeing what shows are able to sustain discussion as the weeks have gone on and what shows get some initial interest from the premiere, but the audience fades over time.
Also, I should mention I haven’t watched this show, just a wandering mod offering musings.
