- Dry Gin - 45 mL
- Lemon Juice - 20 mL
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
- Soda water to taste
Directions:
- Shake all ingredients except soda and pour into tumbler.
- Add ice, fill with soda, and lightly stir.
There might be something about them wanting to avoid advising people to consume raw egg?
Though I’m not sure that’s as much of a concern outside the US.
Eggs are considered safe to eat raw in Japan. So, perhaps the author is vegan?
In any case, I don’t have any gin on hand or I would try this modified recipe and see how it is.
