I like bitter-sweet endings. A fifth season is probably never coming since it has been 12 years and Joshinoya-sensei’s seiyuu has passed away… Unusually long series for slice of life. The art style is iconic and never gets old. I actually attended an art school for a year, so I can relate to it much more than the usual Japanese high school setup. Using them as an image hosting service for posting to social media isn’t “real” use I think. Every time someone scrolls past the post, donmais image cdn gets hit. It definitely has an impact.

I’ve been using catbox, and I even made my posting tool generate a webp thumbnail for large images while linking the full image in the post body to help posts load faster and conserve their bandwidth.
There is also postimages.org.
