New year, new anime season, new general discussion thread. It is a time for new beginnings. A time to look forward to the infinite possiblities that the coming year can hold for us. A time to look forward to all the great and not-so-great anime that the winter 2024 season holds for us.
I want to hear what it is that you are looking forward to, trailers you liked, anime that you want to hype up because you loved the manga/novel. Just about to watch the first episode of Dungeon Meshi. My favorite manga + my favorite animation studio.
Edit: I love it.
I have heard great things about the manga and I love Trigger, so I am willing to give this one a number of episodes to see if I like it. After the first episode, I can’t say I am 100% on board yet, but willing to let them cook.
Haha! It’ll take a sec, but while the series starts off with a dumb funny premise for a hook, the story, lore and character development, goes hard.
