This continues to be not bad. Not great, but far from awful.

A very middling and inoffensive isekai.

And it managed to inject some actual cuteness this episode.

I am still really enjoying this show. I don’t know what it is, but this series is one that I really like and I think Usato’s character is a big part of it. He is this weird mix of too polite to talk back or rebel against Rose, too stubborn to give up even when training is hell, and too nice to pass up any chance to help even monsters with his healing magic. It has been a long time since I read this portion of the manga, so I didn’t really remember it too well, but I remember really enjoying his time in the forest in the manga as well.

I am really looking forward to the inevitable looming conflict with the demons.
