It is the most important Russian book of the 19th century fueling the Bolsheviks. I’ve seen others discussing ‘What is to be done’ on here, and it makes sense. Also, I just like making memes that few people will actually understand.
I only know this name from the metro station from times I’ve visited Saint Petersburg. “Chernyshevsky? Cool they named a guy after that stop, it was a pretty good one I guess.”
Not surprising they’d name something after him considering how influential the book was on the russian revolution.
