Earth’s surface is 71% water, otherwise this seems to assume some flooded hollow earth conspiracy theory too.

Earth’s surface area is roughly 71% water, otherwise this seems to assume some very heavy water or flooded hollow crust conspiracy too ;)

Hollow crust theory is just propaganda put out by Papa John to make people think stuffed crust is bad and safely slander Pizza Hut in the process.

there are natural carbonated water springs that exist. there arent many but the fact that there are some pushes the average amount of carbonation in the earths water above the 0L mark.

which by definition means that the earth cannot be considered flat in either sense of the word

    maths…

Ok but a soda or carbonated water that has lost most of its target fizzyness quotient (scientific term) is still regarded as being flat even if it has some carbonation left. If it were a sliding scale instead of “a” vs “b”, then we could imagine a “locally flat” taste profile while admitting that the whole is not entirely flat. Which is a perfect description of Earth’s geometry.

But if I have a bottle of coke and leave the lid off until it’s no longer bubbly, it’s still carbonic acid but it’s also flat (not bubbly).

This would have never happened either way, CO2 only constitutes 0.04% of earth’s atmosphere. A can of soda averages only 0.62% CO2 per 355ml can.

That is what Spock would have said.
