The anime is almost wrapped up now and I am not really convinced to keep going with the LN version of the story. It had a fun start, but as it went, the pacing and story became a huge jumbled mess. It seemed to me like enough of a mess to be more than the anime mucking up the adaptation.

I like how the website for this series lists it as Teen 13+, when we all know it is really written for bitter office workers that want to live out the fantasy of having all their work make a difference. This one looks interesting enough to me to maybe give it a shot if I can find some time.

Yes absolutely. There are so many different story tropes mixed in there that it’s impossible to juggle them all. (Isekai, reverse-isekai, merchant sim, supernatural, espers, maho shoujo, death game, whatever you call that genre where a yandere tries to make MC hers)
Bookworm obviously. Then Ephemeral Scenes of Setsuna’s Journey and I’ll give Deer King another try.

Another character with another genre has been added to the cast that it significantly reduced tha appearances of other characters.
Also in this volume, neighbor girl is acting out of character.
I liked this volume, but the author should show some progress on past plot points and not abandon then entirely.
