Hmm… Snappy writing and editing, and decent art.
As a comedy, @glilimith@lemmy.blahaj.zone is right, and this first episode doesn’t really connect.
But it’s still watchable. I’m willing to give this a couple more episodes to find its feet.

I think this could very well become my favorite of the season.
edit for clarification: I meant from the new ones. My love for Holo and the Camping Gang is palpable.
Very much not for me. It seems to use its low budget efficiently, at least. But, for a comedy, it really comes down to if it makes me laugh, and this finished up with one (1) small chuckle and a couple of nose breaths, which doesn’t really cut it. For anyone who likes the jokes, I wish you a lovely time and hope for a lack of Usagi Drop in your future.
For me, though, it’s a 2/5
