I had fun with parts of this episode and then other parts were quite dark. The fun parts were our poor Fighter D doing his best to keep his cool. He even came face to face with Red Keeper and managed to keep his cover intact. However, it might have been too early for him to impersonate somebody he only barely knows as he was very quickly found out by Suzukiri.
Speaking of Suzukiri…in last week’s thread I said “this character definitely gives off underhanded villainess vibes” and it seems like I was close. She’s got those yandere vibes, and she’s got the knife skills to back them up. We don’t yet know what her motivation for taking on the Dragon Keepers might be, but at least our poor Fighter D lives to see another day…
Unlike Fighter F, who gets perma-killed by Red Keeper. Just like always, Red Keeper knows the #1 rule is to always look cool. So, just like any other cool guy, he never looks at explosions:
I had a hard time picking a good screenshot for this episode, so others should feel free to propose others. That being said, here is mine (@rikka@ani.social):
I love those animated plush outros/next episode titles
We find out the Dusters don’t have a clue how to behave like real humans, which is going to be a source of humor and a huge problem for D as he tries to keep his true identity secret.
