I’m living in Turkey. Turkey (Türkiye) have many refugees (as far as i know 6 millions + more) . The economy is terrible. I think Turkish lira is the most worthless currency in the world at the moment. So why should the European Union take us into its union?
why would Turkey want it? More people will flee the country to other European countries, EU multinationals will compete the living shit out of the local companies. I don’t see much benefit for Turkey to join, while they are this economically weak (no offense)
