Really happy to see this. I really wasn’t sure if this was going to happen or not. I don’t have a good sense as to whether this series is popular or not. Apparently it has done well enough to continue the adaptation.
This is as surprising to me as it getting a season 2 was. And I’m sure it’s a completely normal, company purchasing rights to adapt and expecting returns… but part of me is like… what if it’s just one really rich dude that wants to see it animated? 😆
Agreed. I am really surprised as well. I wouldn’t be too surprised if you told me that it was the studio director’s favorite series or something like that. Then again, maybe it is way more popular in Japan?
I stopped watching once I figured out the pattern would be Encounter strong enemy > beat strong enemy > strong enemy becomes sexy lady > repeat
How can this get three seasons?
That pattern doesn’t really hold though. The third strong enemy becomes a sexy man. Seriously though, it’s not the greatest show ever made but it is better than 95% of the isekai trash out there and isn’t nearly as formulaic as you seem to think it is.
