I can’t really put my finger on why, but there is just something about this show that I find really charming. Perhaps it is just the right mix of ingredients that aren’t exceptional in their own right, but come together in just the right way. There is the cuteness part of the show represented by the character designs, Belle’s goofiness, and the golems:

Then, there is the cold-blooded, kuudere assassin Clay; representing the kill or be killed nature of exploring the dungeon. There is death that happens in this place, potentially including her father, and she has been trained to be the best at it. She gets to show off to the other employees this episode, demonstrating her ice cold charisma. Throwing out one-liners and winning hearts:

Mix the two sides of this show together and it creates just the right combination of elements. Just like different people have different tastes though, the mix might be off for some people depending on their preferences. However, I am finding it quite nice. @rikka@ani.social
