I mentioned last time how Nadeko changed a lot throughout the series. Now, different faces(phases) of Nadeko materialize thanks to Yotsugi which made me realize that Nadeko changed much more than I had originally thought. We have Current-Nadeko, Meek-Nadeko, Wrath-Nadeko, Flirty-Nadeko, and God Nadeko. That’s a lot of Nadekos.
Yotsugi also mentioned Gaen Izuko and Kagenui Yozuru so I wonder if they’re going to appear in this season. Gaen is also one of my favorites. Speaking of appearances, Oshino Ougi makes one and seems to be a major character this season. I’ll have to remember that Ougi is a boy now.
As usual, this episode is a visual treat. It’s much closer to Bakemonogatari (Season 1) than any of the other seasons I think. It really looks like mixed-media artwork compared to the other seasons.

With these screenshots alone, it’s hard to convince someone that this is anime. Monogatari Series really stands out because of this and this is why I really love this series.
