Interesting way to end the series, with an implied off screen death of the title character. I do like how this ends though, with Gilbert basically saying that this time magic isn’t needed; that he lived a happy enough life that he doesn’t feel the need to redo anything. Basically, Aster’s gambit worked well enough in the end, that the cycle of time loops are broken.
