Ok who cares? This is about as dumb as the “I could drink a beer with him” voters. It doesn’t matter if he gives out full sized candy bars, giant toblerones or oranges for trick or treat. His house could be the best house on the block during Halloween and he could be the most evilest politician those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Show what he did as governor to convince people to vote for him and Harris.
Why not both. We’ve been doing both. It’s important to humanize them aas well and show what their accomplishment are.
You could have said ‘not only is this image true but he also protected women’s reproductive rights with the Pro act, trans rights with the Trans Refuge act, his gun safety measures which provided funding for violence prevention programs, expanded background checks, etc. Free lunches for all kids, voting rights for convicted felons, drivers licenses for undocumented people, paid family and medical leave by 2026, made weed legal’.
Instead you chose to just be negative, go off king I guess.
Because a huge segment of voters have proven they don’t vote based on boring facts of merit, but by psychological reactions based around how they visualize politicians as friends.
I get your point and agree with it to an extent, but I’d argue that being a good neighbor is a good thing in a politician. Sure, you can be a total asshole and do an excellent job as governor or president or whatever, but being a nice person is kinda helpful.
By all means, lead with the important bits (which for the record I have looked into and mostly like) and include this on page 12, but that doesn’t mean it’s worthless.
EDIT: Apparently he was governor in 2019 so it is a little different than him just being a good neighbor, but I think my point still stands. It’s a hell of a lot better news than “Old orange fascist quotes Hitler again”
