“No administration has helped Israel more than I have,” Biden said. “None. None, none. And I think Bibi should remember that. And whether he’s trying to influence the election, I don’t know but I’m not counting on that.”

I’m not suggesting some conspiracy or shadowy cabal, but rather that our foreign policy is coming largely from Biden’s aides and Blinken, and not Biden himself. I didnt mean for the statement to come of as conspiratorial.

I mean… that’s kind of how it works? The president isn’t some kind of demi-god that holds all knowledge and power in their hands while in office… they have lots of staffers and consultants that provide info and policy suggestions.

Sure. For things like which bridge to build or school lunches.

Things like the US policy on Israel/ Gaza, or US policy on Ukraine/ Russia: issues like this are always elevated to the top.

And so to me its a “Buck stops where?” question. Like, at a certain point, the buck stops with some one and I’m suggesting it isn’t Biden right now. The guy is clearly not in faculatative command and doesnt (I think) seem aware of the basics of the situation, as the article demonstrates.
