In the list of new shows, I blew this one off: Title is too long and expository, some kind of generic fantasy world/maybe an isekai, not familiar with the studio or source material, etc.
But on (insert well known anime torrent tracker here), the number of shares for this show was phenomenal, at well over 10,000 for (well known group)'s release of episode 1.
Given that in my opinion, anything over about 5,000 shares is worth looking at, this certainly got my attention.
Having binged the first 2 episodes, this is pretty good!
This is an ugly, nasty fantasy world.
The vibe is very much like Akame Ga Kill! (you know, the show where Esdeath came from) where cute anime girls go nuts when their traitorous plots are exposed, and become very much un-cute.

I don’t see any common manga writers, directors, etc. between AGK and this.
Although you can definitely hear Roswaal’s VA playing true to type.
I understand where the protagonist, Noel is coming from, even if that doesn’t make him heroic or even likeable.
Anyway, I think this is way good enough to displace one or more of the shows that I was originally planning to watch this season.
I have given up on all anime with these kinds of names. Laziest way to name a show and it makes me assume many other things are going to be lazy. I do not care if it ends up being good. I will not watch it.
This isn’t a gripe about your post. I just read the title of this anime and went “omg, another one.” It’s like mad libs: “I’m a <insert job> in <insert place> and I’ll <insert accomplishment>.”
Done!
