They are really taking their time with the manga adaptation, but I am not really complaining. They got the chance to go into the details of mana manipulation a lot more than the anime and they got to include some side stories that were completely cut for time. For a series that has a relatively serious tone a lot of the time, they still pack in tons of little jokes. I loved the jokes this chapter about Shiki going through torturous training.
