I go in and ask for help and what do I get, 3 people who thought they were funny online trolls but somehow able to waste virtual space neat trick, and then apparently a moderator who has never opened a dictionary to find the meaning of the word help. They just saw for letters and thought that must be a swear better toss that out, who moderates this community middle aged soccer moms needing attention so bad because their husband is not gay! Your just confused because the tracker you have on his phone keeps making you think he goes straight to Jack the family friends house right after work and stays till sun up coming home dressed in clothes that don’t belong to him. So they stand at the door and talk to the Amazon delivery guy forever who SURPRISE is not interested, then they head in finish there 4th glass of wine before 8:30am take an ambient and then sleep until 7:30pm to find there kids just walked home! Yep that must be it!

Do you typical get defensive when you make mistakes and people correct you or do you find this particularly hard not to feel like your ego was attacked?
The people here do like to be snarky, but welcome to the internet? Especially when someone makes themselves an amazing target by sulking or pouting. Kids always love to pick on the kid with no emotional regulation, and humans dont change much from childhood.
Lemmy is a little hard to understand at first and I am sure plenty of people get embarrassed, but do you ever find you catch a lot of flies with that vinegar or does it just make you feel better to act out?
I find that calling people out for not behaving as what truth may not be a golden rule but is expected from another human being to behave like with a level of respect, dignity and tact. The only people in this world who do not change much from childhood are the same people who say “I am just mean that’s who I am” a very clear signal that they have not grown in life, ever self reflected or understood/understand there own problematic behaviors and how they impact others. Nothing pisses me off more then watching those who have no excuse but to know better behave like a child who has never dealt with true real life issues before.
