You have to be cautious about The Quint. Although it was (and is probably still going to be for some time) a leftist media, it was purchased by one of the many capitalist cronies called the Adani Group. All 100% of the stake has been acquired. 49% around March 2023, and the rest of the 51% around August. 28% of NDTV is also owned by the Adani Group. The Print loves to swing itself on both sides of the spectrum, so I don’t trust them as well (fuck the baldy Shekhar Gupta).
The only two legitimate leftist media in India are Newslaundry and The Wire - there are probably other organizations that I’m probably not aware of, or have not included, like Cobrapost, NewsClick or Unfiltered (by Samdish). The right-wing Indian media are all sellouts anyway, so don’t even bother reading them.
