Source is from episode 10.
I understand that this show might not be everybody’s cup of tea. It constantly was featuring a main character that is very clearly aimed at shota lovers after all. However, I wanted to highlight this show for a different reason; the animation.
This show was made by a very new studio, Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab. As a new studio, they were able to experiment with different ways to produce a series instead of having already established production lines in place. The key thing they do differently is they make heavy use of Unreal Engine throughout the process. This also streamlined things so that they could keep the same creative team working on every episode together rather than separate teams working on different episodes in parallel.
The end product came out looking really good, better than I would have expected from a very young studio like this. The main selling point of the manga is the phenomenal art, so translating that into anime was a risky endeavor for a young studio, but it ended up working out great.
