As always, a good episode. But I’m still not sure about the pacing since Goku’s group is actually done with the first (and largest, I thought) demon world.
The first half about the thieves didn’t really do it for me since it obviously was a none-problem from the start. But it would be fine as a setup since we never saw the Dragon Ball after Goku fell asleep. I guess either Gladio stashed it away or Bulma will check her radar and find it, assuming it is actually gone.
On the topic of Bulma, I’m glad they didn’t actually join up just yet. Getting some more adventures with just their group seems fun. I never thought I’d see Chibi-Vegeta trash some demons in a night club, but here we are. Also, the ships getting constantly stolen is kinda funny. The new guy who’s name always alludes me is still funny, too. His belt eye is probably unintentionally a spying device.
Now for the main course, I like the Saibaman Majin. I always thought these littles guys deserved some more screen time and making a big enemy out of the literally weakest enemies in DBZ (outside of Freeza soldiers) is a fun idea. Assuming he won’t get smashed to pieces by the Tamagami and is replaced immediatly - you never know in this show. The biggest argument for him to be the real deal right now is probably the butt crack on his head - Toriyama loves these. Almost everything he’s worked on has some major characters with this very design.
Now I’m going to be seeing butt cracks in all of his stuff
