I love the response from all of them upon seeing Raspi again.
Too many series - usually battle shonen? - would have the protagonist show mercy and let their opponent go in a weakened state, and (surprise, surprise) they would end up being a recurring antagonist, challenging the protagonist again in the future🙄
This trope happens with villains too (assuming the protagonist isn’t the hero but the villain), but usually the hero / protagonist would win the fight the second time round. It’s overdone but less annoying if it ends for good.
Anyway, seeing characters with common sense is such a breath of fresh air.
Cautious Hero did this really well. I am not really sure why this head is sticking around. Is it going to become a run commentator?
Cautious Hero did this really well.
Yeah, this is one reason why Cautious Hero is among my top favourite anime.
Interesting that the head has stuck around. That hasn’t happened for the previous general that they killed.
Also, just to add on to the credits page, if a Japanese speedrunning event isn’t that comprehensible to you, AGDQ 2025 is coming up on January 5th. It’s always a lot of fun.
