I respect the American movie for actually letting us see her play. And it adapted the manga pretty well. Sadly, the original OVAs that introduced me to Battle Angel in the first place never got to that part. I always find myself hoping for an Anime reboot. I hear those are all the rage lately.
There’s a lot more motorball in the manga. She has a full-on carreer in the sport.
