IDK what character this is, but take away the horns and fangs and she looks scarily like a gf from my 20s. For months I patiently listened to how horrible and abusive her ex was (stereotypical big scary redneck asshole who drove a forklift and got in tavern fights) - until a phone conversation with her mom convinced her somehow that she belonged back with him. It was very abrupt and quite a shock, but it was many years ago and I’m not complaining - I doubt we would have lasted anyway, and omg what months those were.
Character is “Power” from Chainsaw Man. She’s a demon (the blood devil?) inhabiting a dead human body. I think they mention that she always smells terrible from never bathing and taking poor care of her body.
Anyway, hope your ex is doing better! People often foolishly favor familiarity over anything else.
