Right now I’m still not convinced for the reasons given, but since the narrative seems to be aware of that, I’m looking forward to having this dichotomy resolved at some point.

No one knows, so the novel becomes a comedy of misunderstandings. Even if the translation was hard to get through I still managed to get immersed so I enjoyed it.
