Damn, who’s going to call me my grandpa’s name and let me smash now? 😭

Has anyone ever done a quick calculation about the above with the population?
8 billion people x distance to Jupiter = Anywhere close to Proxima Centauri?
I’ll be not lazy when I’m done shitting then someone can come in and correct my math after if ai even remember to do it by the time I get back to my PC.
E: 714 million km distance to jupiter. 40,208,000,000,000 km to Proxima Centauri.
40,208,000,000,000 / 714,000,000 = 56313.72549019608
714,000,000*100 = 71,400,000,000 km end to end for dna is more likely per reddit.
Alternate non nasa distance to proxima centauri is 39,900,000,000,000
39,900,000,000,000 / 71,400,000,000 = 558.8235294117647 people’s dna end to end to reach proxima Centauri.
How about light years? A light-year is 9.44 trillion km or 9,440,000,000,000 so 132.2128851540616 people’s DNA to go 1 light year.
8,000,000,000 / 132.2128851540616 = 60,508,474.5762712 light years of travel distance using the entire population of earth.
Milky way is 100,000 light years across.
So end to end every current human’s DNA would stretch across the Milky Way 605.084745762712 times.
Andromeda Galaxy is 2.5 million light years away.
60,508,474.5762712 / 2,500,000 = 24.20338983050848 times to Andromeda Galaxy and back.
We have galaxies even closer to us so really it’s just a hop and a skip away…
944,000,000,000,000,000 km.

I will once I take my nortriptyline.
I noticed… I noticed every time.
Also Grammarly OP for inane work shit like that. It’s a shame it freaks the fuck out anytime there’s more than like five errors found lol.
They do. And for most purposes each reservation is it’s own little defacto nation. They aren’t truly, but definitely in spirit lol.
I did know there could be a Down Behelit.
… Hangtatoes?
Ro ro ro! Fight the etymological power!
Clever link and way to show it. That legit helped me see it lol.
So the bacon meat inside essentially looks like a little cartoon person and the meme is Saddam Hussein stuff from a person being stuck in that hole.
Less hole in this one and more general person (mummy to me) outline.
TIL a new meme though so that’s nice.

Explaination please?
It’s not about some ideological purity but a basic difference in the ability to learn things because of our inability to control the relevant variables.
We are just going to have to disagree then. Said variables are heavily controlled, well known about, and usually spoken about in every paper about issues it might have.
I’m pretty confident we’re at an impasse now so not much more to say since the long thread has brought in too many side musings too.
Take care.
I’m sorry sir we are talking about the US needing to aid all countries all the time with no military here. Not about some random African nation they should’ve helped the years ago already.
Not help like they helped the middle east though. Or not not helped like they did with the middle east.
Either way, we blame America regardless of whether they had anything remotely to do with it.
I mean you’re not wrong with how you’re thinking about hard STEM sciences but it’s needlessly gatekeeping and full on incorrect to say others aren’t good science. Most of them are very necessary and very real science usually far more important to the world than anyone to the right of the graph in your end of the Purity kxcd lol.
FWIW there’s not competing sciences for even most of the STEM ones either. If you think there is… well you might just be studying string theory still lmfao.
Gotta feel sorry for made up quirks of mathematics that always fall apart when applied in the real world though lol. They make for fun what ifs but damn if they aren’t fleecing their way to a paycheck for hypersensationalized headlines for super fringe never proveable theorems.
Then you’ve missed the entire point of the original saying. It insinuates humanity will be extinct but some little rodent will survive. Or a lizard, or insects, etc.
Humanity is too good for anything the earth will ever throw at it short of a supervolcano. Extrasolar threats are about the closest thing that could take us out and we are A-OK as far as radiation bursts from nearby exploding stars go. That just leaves asteroids large enough to turn the entire crust into molten rock. In which case all life except potentially the tiniest deep in the crust or reintroduced through contaminated space materials will survive.
Humanity will survive the rest. Us poors might not, but humanity will lol.
But that ONE time it was a drag queen like six months ago! See! BothsidesthesameSpOnGeBoB.jpg
I’m friends with Chip and Dale who saw you at reddit recently, Ugly Sonic. Gadget still got it.
I’m glad it works and thank you for saving me from linking it myself lol.
