    Ribon Napolin is a regionally produced soda in Japan. Made since 1911, it’s famous for its Hokkaido ingredients: Hokkaido water and local beet sugar.

    Also, grandma is a bitch.

    edit: Apparently, all Hokkaido people can be referred to as “Dosanko” after a local horse breed, one of eight indigenous Japanese horse breeds.

      Interesting info about the soda and the nickname. I guess the nickname isn’t that different than the colloquial names given to some US state’s residents (Sooners, Hoosiers, etc.).
