Perhaps peaches lose most power when harvested and sent to Earth?

I suspect it is something like this. We haven’t seen the exact process by which peaches are consumed in a controlled manner, but we do know that it is tightly controlled with layers of bureaucracy surrounding it. So, it is entirely possible that the peaches consumed in this way are toned down compared to eating them fresh from the vine so to speak.
