Alright, did they just kill off the main character? They certainly have done a good job of making us think so. I had thought that he was going to use his arm that was cut off to regenerate from after the bulk of him was destroyed by the divine artifact. However, we then see his left arm disappear at the end of the fight. So now I am questioning things. I still can’t imagine that D won’t be coming back due to how the show has been marketed and the visuals/OP/ED/etc. all featuring his character, but this was a well done character death that it is making me think about it.

Suzukiri continues to be the standout character in this show for me. Her VA has been walking the fine line between creepy, helpful, and crazy like a pro. I was also surprised by Hibiki figuring things out as he always seemed like a naive idiot. There is probably more there than meets the eye. Looking forward to next week.
